the answerability stack is landed on `main`

agent-decided, reversible. Six research rounds — CF coverage continuity interface, the locality and exact NCSS audit, the Proper Exercise refinement calculus, answerability carriers, anchored slices and authenticated semantic Transfer, and faithful semantic preservation — were not on main. Their pull requests, #71 through #73, are marked merged on the forge and were merged into each other: the stack was based on round/2026-08-30-liability-theory, which had already reached main through #70, so eleven commits stayed on the branch and no pull request from the top of the stack to main was ever opened.

The work is landed rather than redone. Current main was merged into the stack and the result opened as a single pull request; three files conflicted and all three were additive on both sides. state/rounds.json is the union of the two record sets, sorted by date and id, with main winning on any shared id. PROVENANCE.md keeps both sides' rows in both tables. Generated views are regenerated rather than resolved by hand. No round document is edited and nothing from either side is dropped.

Why this was not left as a note. The rounds' exact fixtures did not run in this repository's CI, so results attributed to them were paper-derived from main's point of view, and the September checkpoint had to cite the underlying note by section number instead of a repository path. Landing the stack restores both.

The general hazard, worth keeping. A merged badge names the base the pull request had, not main. Nothing in the current gates checks that a round directory referenced anywhere actually reached the default branch, and a stacked round is the shape that slips through. It surfaced only because tests/dead_pointers.py failed in CI on a citation while passing locally — the local checkout carried the directories as untracked files.

Rejected alternative: recording the absence and citing around it, which is what the September checkpoint did as an interim measure. That keeps the repository saying something false about its own contents for no benefit once the merge is available.
