author consolidation: two rounds landed, the wiki restated as legitimate cognitive evolution

Maintainer-dispatched consolidation pass, executed with write scope by the round at prompts/2026-09-05-author-consolidation/. Not a research round: no theorem is added, no claim is registered, no epistemic class moves.

Merges. The defeat-landing round (round/2026-09-03-defeat-landing-horty-standing) squash-merged to main as f7489cf; the Normative Inductor realization (round/2026-09-04-normative-inductor-realization) rebased onto that, retargeted from its stacked base to main, and squash-merged as caa3ad0. Both merges went through GitHub's asynchronous merge endpoint, which is what it requires of a stacked pull request; neither had conflicts. Both squash messages carry their Model attribution.

Corrections made on the way, all recorded in the rounds' own documents as dated annotations rather than rewrites:

• projects/normativity/notes/PRIOR_ART.md, Pollock 1987: the URL the defeat-landing round recorded as dead redirects to a host that serves the paper. The entry carries the resolving address and the DOI, re-verified 2026-09-05 against the PDF's first page, and keeps the caution that Horty credits the distinction to Pollock 1970.
• The Normative Inductor round: joint price-space feasibility does not imply joint practical-response compatibility. One service occurrence realizes one decision distribution, so every exposure matched to it needs its own anchored response certificate against that same distribution; incompatible demands are separated into distinct service contexts, adjudicated under a licensed upstream rule, given a common adequate response, or left as residual mass. Recorded as a realization obligation in the realization document, the presentation note, THEOREMS.md and REPORT.md; the abstract admissible-edge relation already admits an edge only when its certificate exists, so no abstract-contract change was needed. The exact_carry_left docstring now says it consumes an already certified identity edge and does not establish the semantic premise. PROVENANCE.md names the governing contract files without a local filesystem path.

The wiki, which the freeze policy of 2026-09-01 expects to move, is restated around one idea — legitimacy is a property of cognitive evolution, not a certification of a state from first principles — with the decomposition

Legitimate Evolution = Integrity / Answerability + Robust Openness

and two bills issued to external theories: a non-capture certificate relative to a declared intervention class, and a counterfactual-value certificate for the practical-response interface. Five pages are new (Settlement-Interface, Integrity, Openness-Coverage-and-Non-Capture, Normative-Induction, Normative-Inductor); Legitimacy and Diachronic-Answerability are rewritten; Home, _Sidebar, Roadmap, Glossary, Progress, Normativity, Actionability-and-Normative-Force, Why-Normativity, Prior-Art, Architecture, Deference, Corrigibility and Normative-Record-and-Inquiry are amended. The full normative history H and its settlement view SetView(H) are distinguished throughout; defeat is presented as carry, not extinguishment; Integrity and Non-Capture are stated as distinct questions; Progress is stated relative to a declared evaluation protocol; the dimension-normalized public defect appears only as the rejected alternative.

This supersedes the three-conjunct framing of 2026-09-01 as the sanctioned shape. Affordability is a realizability side condition, as that ruling's own amendment already said; the pillar it names Diachronic Answerability with its semantic authentication is now stated as Integrity plus Answerability, with Integrity the theory of the history and Answerability the conservation law over it; counterfactual non-capture becomes the certificate half of Robust Openness, relative to a declared coverage scope. The 2026-09-01 ruling's distinction stands unchanged: this is the shape work is sequenced against, not a claim, and no legitimacy predicate has been written.

Rejected alternatives: keeping the two rounds stacked until a further refinement (nothing in either depended on more than what had landed); adding a new abstract contract object for joint response compatibility (the admissible-edge relation already carries it); a wiki page per round (the wiki is the conceptual register and the round directories are the evidence).
