After detection the uses of the tainted observation are excluded in advance and the agent reports and inquires; the remedy is her ratification through a counted decision — full, scoped (remedied except for decisions on the matters X), refused, or replacement. The per-violation calculus gains a matter scope (Step3, TaintS, uses3, applyStep3): a scoped remedy clears exactly the out-of-scope uses and keeps the in-scope ones (scoped_clears_out_of_scope, scoped_keeps_in_scope, full_remedy_clears3), and a remedy applies only through a counted decision, so manipulated ratification is no remedy, scoped or full (applyRatification, ratification_gate, manipulated_scoped_not_remedy). On refusal over reserved knowledge: compartmentalize through a twin market fed the redacted history (TwinMarket, PAPER), with the leakage residual that a trace of the fruit in the later world lets the twin learn it again (leakage), and retirement as the remaining option. Before detection the late debits charge the window and decisions already made stand. Rejected alternative: the agent's own judgment of when the taint may be lifted.
