Item 33: Separate causal transformation structure from normative certification
Normativity line — the learning track · difficulty entry · project normativity · open · node item-33
Extract the minimal transformation API required by the online-learning theorem: a fixed action domain, public pre-action state, causal total action map, and declared comparator identity. Keep the reasons-responsiveness certificate as a separate architecture-side judgment that authorizes compilation into that API.
Deliverable shape: a typed or executable split between compiled transformations and normative compilation evidence, with adapters for all nine current declarative programs. Acceptance check: all nine programs induce the same action maps and regret quantities as before; the generic learner imports no reason, warrant, obligation, tariff, or profitability fields; and a negative test shows that an uncertified transformation cannot enter the declared lawful comparator collection through the normative adapter. Context: projects/normativity/notes/NORMATIVE_LEARNING_INTERFACE.md, Levels A and B.
Counterfactual stability remains a theorem-design direction rather than a filed item. The present candidate is a distortion term comparing local fixed-loss evaluation with full replay, potentially requiring B_T(g) = o(T), but no accepted sufficient statement yet supplies an executable completion criterion.
