Item 44: What governs removing a world from support altogether?

Normativity line — traderized enforcement · difficulty open · project normativity · open · node item-44

Under the support reading of live worlds — a world is live when some credence the constraint admits gives it positive mass — a constraint cannot quietly drop a world it merely disfavours. p(A) <= 1/2 keeps A live at capacity 1/2. What it can do is set the capacity to zero outright, as p(A) = 0 does, and then the world leaves the assessment set entirely and the enforcement channel may lose there for free.

That is the narrow residue of a laundering worry the round first stated far too broadly and has withdrawn. It is also settlement-shaped: setting a world's capacity to zero is the constraint entailing that world impossible, which is what a settlement event does, and the settlement interface already has write-once, no-claw-back and answerability machinery for exactly that act.

The item is whether that machinery covers it, or whether a source can remove a world by an ambient constraint without incurring a settlement's obligations. If the second, state the condition that closes the route.

Deliverable shape: a stated condition, with the round's p(A) = 0 fixture failing it and its deductive-recovery fixtures passing; or an argument that the settlement interface's existing clauses already bind the act. Acceptance check: test_semantics.GenuineRemoval distinguishes total removal from small support; a solution must say which of the two the constraint performed.
