Statement
Formalizations of the conjecture take the human inductor to be computable, and so in principle perfectly simulable by a strong enough AI.
Source
projects/deference/note-dump-2026-08-11/wiki/eisenstat-conjecture-attribution.md §2, the computability fork: "Without the assumption, the humans could always know things the AI doesn't, which should significantly weaken the result."
Notes
An axis every formalization must declare; the corpus sits silently on the computable branch (attribution §2).
