Statement

The phenomena that matter for trust between humans and AI systems, above all the computational part of human uncertainty about values, can be represented at the computationally unbounded level.

Notes

A crux between the super-Turing and logical-induction levels, a shared claim of the-program. Pictures: (a) computational uncertainty must be represented explicitly, being a large component of human uncertainty about values; (b) the unbounded level suffices by analogy, with strains improvable (the summer plan's methodology); (c) value uncertainty is represented as uncertainty over events of an expanded algebra, without explicit computation (the value-change note; AI reading that this bears on the crux); and the residual. Rows (a), (b) and (c) condition on the shared claim each picture rests on. It re-ranks level-super-turing against the logical-induction line through st-guides-via-analogy, and bears on level-above-quantifiable (AI reading). The table is proposed until a human admits it.
