Statement

The effective-authority layer, in which authority is exercised through a protocol that cannot be bypassed, with caused and flood-caused shortfalls, a comprehension shortfall, approval discounts and a revocation default, and sincerity conditions on which verdicts count, can be improved until it reflects a principal whose later judgment counts as her own because the agent asks through her protocol, keeps her attention budget and takes no authority back from her well.

Source

graph/PROTOCOL.md, section 2, Improvement claims; the reality phrase follows the authorship-and-transparency programme's question (when a later judgment is the principal's own) and wiki/Corrigibility.md, Effective exercise, not maximized control; the routes are PRIORITIES items 107 and 101 and this round's item 131.

Notes

The improvement claim on the connected effective-authority layer, filed by the site-vertical-slice round (projects/enabling/rounds/2026-10-24-site-vertical-slice): what remains between the twelve finite results and the programme's question.
