Statement

The gated Tower identity of the li-deference notes, stated at the logical-induction register toward a teacher process with a soft legitimacy weighting and a correction function, is well-formed with legal weights, reduces to Tower when legitimacy is provable, and holds non-vacuously for an anchored legitimacy event.

Source

projects/deference/note-dump-2026-08-11/notes/li-deference.md, section 0.3 (the gated Tower and the correction function, quoted at legit-gated-trust-li). The Total Trust form toward the self is stated and checked against the logical induction paper's conditional expectation theorem in projects/deference/faf-cleanroom-2026-10-02/sources/corrigibility/workflow-2026-09-14b/develop/legitimacy-general-final.md, Statement 10.

Notes

The first route of the plan. Well-formedness is the easier half: soft indicators of a sentence are legal weights and the clean room already states gated chains. The non-vacuity half is where the anchor enters, which is why the leaf is conditioned on the anchor crux.
