Statement
In the li-deference setting positive corrigibility results hold conditional on legitimacy, corrigibility is high in general in the version without legitimacy, and fully updated deference is established through the construction's time-travel-like quality.

The author's own notes, projects/deference/note-dump-2026-08-11/notes/li-deference.md, line 75: "Corrigibility. What can we say about corrigibility in this setting? I expect we can get some positive corrigibility results conditional on legitimacy, meaning you can get corrigibility if you can keep belief in legitimacy high. In the version without any legitimacy, corrigibility is high in general. Fully-updated-deference is established through the time-travel-like quality."
Notes
The author's expectation, months before the thesis. Its conditional half is the programme of legitimacy-conditioned-reflection; its 'high in general' half is contradicted in finite shadows by erosion under silence and capability beyond oversight (the shadows are not LI). It conditions on the landed collapse result, filed by the li-trust branch.
