Statement
Formal work on the Stage 5 representation theorem proceeds in parallel with the mastery program rather than after it.
Source
projects/deference/note-dump-2026-08-11/notes/roadmap.md, Stage 5: "Having thoroughly explored existing theories of abstraction (and many variations), and having mastered the relevant math and proof technique: a theory combining abstraction with logical induction"; line 5: "the cross-cutting mastery program (§B) runs in parallel with everything"; §B, quoting the maintainer: "Work on learning stuff well at the same time as applying it and reformulating it."
Notes
A crux of this programme (the roadmap's §B puts mastery beside application). It re-ranks the mastery work of the roadmap's §B against stage5-li-representation-theorem: under the literal gate the reading comes first.
