Statement
For the self-expert, the inductor's day-n price is an average of its day-f(n) informed price and a residual, and the residual is the pull-back that def-self-trust builds, so DDB's modestly-informed decomposition has a logical-induction form.

Notes
DDB's central §4 constraint, for an expert whose self-knowledge is asymptotic rather than a finite list of candidates.
