Statement

The given variables two latent-variable models share do part of the work that makes their correspondence meaningful, in a form that generalizes to models whose givens are related by a morphism rather than identical.

projects/deference/note-dump-2026-08-11/notes/roadmap.md, Stage 4: "Suspicion to investigate: the observables are doing some of the work of making sure correspondence is meaningful, in a way that could possibly be generalized." || The maintainer's LessWrong posts "Condensation" (2025-11-09) and "Condensation & Relevance" (2026-01-23): the second post says condensation, like natural latents, establishes corresponding world-models by assuming the correspondence of a few given variables.

Notes

The claim has two halves. The structural half (the comparison quantifies over latent models of one fixed random-variable model) is in the published account and is near certain; it is the hypothesis condensation-shared-givens of the theorem. The open half, that the role generalizes, is what this node claims.
