Statement

In the two-step, two-utility, one-button shutdown model of Soares et al. 2015, the stop-world precondition is a necessity-and-sufficiency pair with exact margins only for sufficiency, and both directions of the corpus's iff statement of the stop-hypothesis theorem fail inside the model's own beta-above-alpha package.

Source

projects/deference/faf-cleanroom-2026-10-02/packages/corr-three-step-facts, statement T3 (declarations stopHyp_necessity, WitnessesA.skewB and hedgeB; finding F-1); Soares et al. 2015, sections 2 to 4.

Notes

The shutdown toy itself, filed as a formal result so that its improvement claim has a literal node to point at (the landed anti-naturality root is the paper's sentence, not its model). Its refinement is the general modification object of the channel frame.

Bridge card

Connected to no informal claim yet: held by no frame.

Declaration stopHyp_necessity (record shutdown-button-toy.record)

Bridge (formalizer-stated; shutdown-button-toy.bridge, drafted):

The declarations state the shutdown model's stop-hypothesis theorem exactly, correcting the corpus's iff statement of it (the correction is to the repository's soares note, not to the 2015 paper).

Hypotheses, read:

Completeness (shutdown-button-toy.complete): No premise beyond the proved declaration, its stated setting and its bridge is needed for the informal reading of shutdown button toy to hold.
