Statement
The updateless side is high value to AI safety engineering work even where the theory of computational updatelessness is easy: the engineering decisions updateless reasoning changes are large enough that the programme's expected contribution to a formal understanding of trust exceeds the updateful plan's at equal cost.

Notes
A crux of the-program frame, stated in magnitude form. No document in the repository has the engineering value of updatelessness as its subject; the pictures are assembled from motivation paragraphs, the maintainer's open-problem list, his May 2026 conjecture about values and his 2025 description of Geometric UDT, and the decomposition is the filing session's. The four pictures that name a concrete engineering situation are given the existence claim updateless-engineering-value-exists; the two pictures against stand on their own.
