Statement
The frame tree under the top frame holds the maintainer's research agenda as deep goals, mid-level goals and concrete tasks, and each of its nodes cites the source it is drawn from.
Source
graph/PROTOCOL.md, Task leaves and work pointers: the bridge from the high-level agenda to the concrete research is left to AI; the high-level ideas need spelling out, which is itself a task and can be inferred from the repository's activity.
projects/deference/note-dump-2026-08-11/notes/roadmap.md (the staged arc the agenda descends from).
Notes
The 2026-10-05 revision round filed the agenda from seven branch maps drafted and critiqued by AI sessions. The step holds once a human read finds the lines in place; a misplaced or missing line is a structural edit, not a number.

Each verb opens a prefilled issue; a round files what lands as the ledger event it is.
